Welcome to the first week of the September COLOR FUSE BLOG HOP!  Twice a month on the first and third Monday’s we’ll be bringing you inspiration through color!  September's hops will feature four gorgeous colors. I picked a stamp set you may not have thought of for this set of colors. LIVE, LOVE, GROW is a favorite of mine!  I just love the sweet succulents and sentiments.  I know you would typically think of this set being in neutrals and greens, but I love the idea of throwing in a Sweet Sugarplum succulent along with the Mint Macaron plants. To make this a beautiful but functional card, I added a birthday greeting inside along with a couple more succulents. Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week our theme is SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW. Another fun theme for this month and another watercolor card to share!  I am officially obsessed with watercolor!  Now it's been three Saturday's in a row with this style of cards. Tons of color of course for a rainbow themed card!  And every bit of color you see was done with ink pads and an aqua painter. The blue sky was created with Dapper Denim ink and allowed to dry while I worked on the other elements.  The word "RAINBOW" was next, it was heat embossed in black so the colors would stay put in each block letter.  Even the word "sunshine" was die cut from watercolor paper then Daffodil Delight ink was added.  I made some areas darker for the lovely contrast. Welcome to the second part of the August Blog Hops with the Color Fusers Design Team!  This month we are featuring a super gorgeous color combination of Cherry Cobbler, Watermelon Wonder and Smokey Slate.  Be sure to click on the links below to visit all the blogs for tons of fabulous inspiration! I went with my favorite style of the moment, CLEAN AND SIMPLE!  A perfect stamp to do this with is the new SUNSHINE SAYINGS . I used the coordinating thinlits to create a clean look in just 10 minutes! Love the whimsical look of these thinlits!  I went with Smokey Slate for my card base to the Watermelon Wonder heart and Cherry Cobbler sentiment would pop against it.  Extra stamping was required to complete the sentiment.  I added in "& hugs" below with Basic Gray Archival Ink and embossed "sending" in white to add above.  I love the different textures and colors combined together....very fun!
