I can't believe it's Thursday already!  This week for the Challenge at Create with Connie and Mary we have a great sketch to work with. I thought about Oh, Whale for this card immediately.  I saw the clouds in strips and the waves fitting right into this sketch.  Here's the card I made. The card base is Marina Mist embossed with the Cloudy Day EF.  I also used the Cloudy Day EF for the strips of Whisper White to go behind the waves DSP from Sunshine and Sprinkles.  The whale was stamped with Melon Mambo and die cut with the Happy Whale Clearlit.  I also die cut stars in Daffodil Delight with the Happy Whale Clearlit.  The greeting was stamped with Melon Mambo then die cut using a Bitty Banners Framelit.  The whale and stars are adhered with dimensionals so they'll stand out.  I was pleased with how quickly this card came together.  This week's sketch was such a fun one!! It's Monday already and time for a new sketch from Technostamper.  Here is a picture of the sketch for this week. I came up with a card really quick with this sketch.  I had Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP on my desk so I decided on a fun baby card using the DSP and Oh, Whale stamp set. I just LOVE this card!!  The Sunshine and Sprinkles paper is so sweet!  I used Marina Mist for my base card with DSP layered on it.  The Whisper White is embossed with the Cloudy Day EF and the corners are rounded as in the sketch. More DSP and a cute die cut whale follow along with the sketch.  I added in a greeting from Oh, Whale that was die cut with a Bitty Banners framelit. The final touch was die cut stars from the matching whale sizzlet.  I think the stars really make the card look finished.  I had so much fun this sketch!! Happy Monday!! It's time for a new Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge with Technostamper! Here is the fun sketch that Mary Jo gave the design team to work with this week. And here is the card I did using this great sketch. I had been thinking about trying out the Cloudy Day EF with glossy white cs and adding color with an Aqua Painter, so that is where my idea for this card formed.  I have baby on the brain right now so a baby card was my first thought!  (I am having my baby in about a week and a half! Almost there!) The base card is Marina Mist and I added in DSP from Sunshine and Sprinkles.  I embossed the glossy white cs with Cloudy Day EF and then used Marina Mist ink and an Aqua Painter to add touches of color to the clouds.  I added in more DSP for the layer behind that whale.  I die cut the whale in Marina Mist using the Happy Whale Sizzlet.  A pearl for the eye made him complete.  The greeting was stamped in Marina Mist and die cut with a Bitty ...

Today's share is an Oh, Whale! card...again! I wonder if I'll get enough of this stamp set?!  It just has so much potential and the greetings are great.  Actually, I think I am going to make a baby shower version of yesterday's Valentine treat like Sue suggested!  Anyway, here is my thank you card. This is such a quick card to put together.  I embossed my white card stock base with the Cloudy Day EF, and then just added a few details.  The Bashful Blue CS cut out with the Labels Famelit looked a bit like a cloud, so I embossed it too with Cloudy Day.  I die cut the whale with the matching sizzlet (love a matching die cut!!) and the greeting with the Bitty Banners Framelit.  The waves I stamped three times, only inking once with Pacific Point. I just stamped in succession to give a faded look then cut the waves out by hand.  I also added a bit of bling by giving the whale a rhinestone jewel eye. And that's it! An Oh, Whale! thank you!! Today's share was inspired by my fabulous upline Patty Bennett.  She sent me the cutest little treat over the summer.  It's a great way to use up old containers from buttons and brads.  This is my Valentine version. I used Oh, Whale! (again...just love this set) and the Sycamore Street DSP.  It is the pattern with the Pool Party swirls.  I die cut the whale in Pink Pirouette and punched out clouds using the cupcake punch.  The greeting is die cut with the Bitty Banners Framelits.  Here is a close up for a better look. I really love the soft look of the Pool Party combined with Pink Pirouette...I think I'll be using this combo again! I put pink and white M&M's in the container, here are back and side views. Yesterday I made a thank you card using Oh, Whale! so today I am sharing a valentine.  This set is so cute and versatile! I love that there are several greetings included that give you lots of creative options. I wanted to use hearts to go along with the LNS weekly challenge, so a valentine was the obvious choice.  The card base is embossed with the new Cloudy Day EF.  I die cut the whales using the matching sizzlet and added a pearl for the eyes.  The large scallop heart is from the new Hearts a Flutter framelits, the pink heart is the heart punch, and the small hearts are from the whale sizzlet. I stamped the waves and cut them out to add at the bottom.  All in all, I am pleased, especially with all the hearts!  Thanks for stopping by, check back again! If it doesn't move..stamp it!!
