Thursday is here so I have a card to share for this week's sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary. These colors are just perfect for Thanksgiving and fall.  I just got Holiday Invitation and I knew exactly what I wanted to do. It's been forever since I've made a card with the Scallop Tag Topper closure and I knew this set would work perfectly with this style. Blackberry Bliss is such a rich, deep color so I used it for the card base.  I punched the scallop edges and scored the card to give me a good size front panel to stamp on.  A layer of Hello Honey went on the panel first, then a layer of Whisper White. The sentiment went on the paper first in Blackberry Bliss.  "Give Thanks" got stamped one word at a time to stack them.  Having this set in photopolymer makes both inking and stamping them individually a breeze!  Once the sentiment was in place, I stamped and die cut two pumpkins from Fall Fest and placed them in the center....perfect fit! It's Thursday and time for a new challenge from Create with Connie and Mary .  This week we have a great sketch to work with. I made a Festival of Trees card with frosty colors inspired by the All is Calm Designer Paper. The Lost Lagoon card base has light stamping of the snowflake from Letterpress Winter.  I didn't want it to be too plain, but I also didn't want it to be too busy.  All is Calm Designer Paper makes up the next part of the design.  A polka dot circle and strip of Smokey Slate trees look great against the darker Lost Lagoon card. The Soft Sky tag was made with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  A few snowflakes and sentiment from Cheerful Tags are stamped directly on the tag.  The tree from Festival of Trees is Basic Gray embossed with white.  A sparkly star add just the right touch of sparkle.  The finishing touch is a bit of 5/8" white organza ribbon and a rhinestone. Welcome!  Hard to believe Saturday is here already, the last few weeks have just flown by! Today is the final favor/3D item for the Card "Create"tions Collection.  This week my card set was Perfect Couple, so today I have a favor to share using that set. I love Coastal Cabana for this particular stamp set, it reminds me a bit of Tiffany Blue.  What could be better than a treat tucked away in a sweet little box! Isn't this just too cute!  The box has Scallop Tag Topper Punch closures and is the perfect size for a couple of small chocolate bars.  This sweet little box would be a great wedding favor or bridal shower favor. The box is tied closed with a Crumb Cake Taffeta bow.  I added the sentiment to a tag made with a Heart Framelit.  I stamped "I Do" with Early Espresso on Very Vanilla.  A Basic Rhinestone jewel fit perfectly as the diamond in the ring. The side of the box also has a sentiment.  I stamped it with Bermuda Bay on Coastal Cabana ...

By now you have probably seen the really cool cards with the closures made with the new Scallop Tag Topper Punch.  I think it's a fabulous idea and made one of my own! This card combines the Hardwood background stamp with the Petite Petals Bundle.  They are a PERFECT match!!  The Petite Petal flowers are so fun to stamp and punch, I kind of over did it and now I have a small container full of extra flowers! The card base is Crumb Cake with a layer of Whisper White inside. The left panel has a layer of Crumb Cake stamped with Soft Suede and the Hardwood stamp.  I didn't want to stamp the wood background directly to the card since there is a tag on the side, the panel looks much more finished this way. The flowers are stamped with Elegant Eggplant on both Whisper White and Wisteria Wonder.  I rounded the flowers using my stylus and paper piercing mat to give dimension.  I love the pearls in the center, really makes them come to life!  I also added in sma...
