Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week our theme is HOMESPUN CHRISTMAS. Since we are all about homespun Christmas I went with a warm and cozy card featuring COOKIE CUTTER CHRISTMAS and the CABLE KNIT EMBOSSING FOLDER. Anything with cable knit is warm and cozy!!  I even went for dark colors that make you think of warmth when you look at them. Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week our theme is NON TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS COLORS. I went with my favorite bokeh technique to create a beautiful sparkly card with SANTA'S SLEIGH. The softness of the Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White craft ink create a lovely background for the sparkly silver glimmer reindeer. I added a punch of color with a Tempting Turquoise wreath and the sentiment embossed in black.  The sentiment was actually taken from CHRISTMAS PINES.  I liked the font and the size of the sentiment complimented the reindeer. I've gone clean and simple today with the beautiful SANTA'S SLEIGH BUNDLE . I love white on white for the card base and top layer.  The gold glimmer reindeer really stands out and sparkles this way!  I added embossing for more interest and dimension.  The PINE BOUGH Embossing Folder is just perfect for a clean and simple look in white. Adding in a sentiment with EMERALD ENVY gives just a hint of color and really pops on this card.  This has been my color of choice so far for Christmas, I just love it! Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week our theme is CHRISTMAS CARDS WITH MOVEMENT. Of course you know I had to go with a SHAKER CARD since it's my favorite style of movement card! This is a flat shaker and I only did the top portion of the card so the gingerbread man could be along the bottom. The card features two stamp set that work beautifully together, CANDY CANE CHRISTMAS and COOKIE CUTTER CHRISTMAS.  I also added in the coordinating CANDY CANE LANE WASHI TAPE AND DSP. What I love about this type of card is how easy it is!  Shaker cards with height require more time to assemble since you have to work with foam adhesive.  This flat style of card skips that step so you can move fast yet still have the wow factor of the shaker. Toady's card is a fun fold, my favorite type in fact....a POP OUT SWING SHAKER CARD . I used the fun CANDY CANE CHRISTMAS stamp set and coordinating CANDY CANE LANE DSP. I also added in the fun CANDY CANE LANE DESIGNER WASHI TAPE on the inside of the card.  I love how it all coordinates beautifully! Have you tried this type of card before?
