Welcome to the February 2017 Color Fusers Blog Hop!  Each month we work with a group of colors to bring you inspiration.  Check out the fabulous colors we have to work with this month. We only have to use three of the colors, but I love the challenge of using all four!  I was able to pull it off using the fun COOL TREATS bundle from the Occasions Catalog.   It ended up being quite easy to incorporate all the colors with this stamp set.  It all started with the Peekaboo Peach paper from the TASTY TREATS Specialty DSP .  It provided a wonderful background to work with. Lots of details went into the rest of the card.  A fun sundae was placed in a set of circles and surrounded by the sentiment.  I love how the sentiment circles around the focal point.  It's a unique way to do a greeting for sure!  I had originally placed the words in a zig zag pattern but really loved it when I thought to put it along the top and bottom. Welcome to the first week of the September COLOR FUSE BLOG HOP!  Twice a month on the first and third Monday’s we’ll be bringing you inspiration through color!  September's hops will feature four gorgeous colors. I picked a stamp set you may not have thought of for this set of colors. LIVE, LOVE, GROW is a favorite of mine!  I just love the sweet succulents and sentiments.  I know you would typically think of this set being in neutrals and greens, but I love the idea of throwing in a Sweet Sugarplum succulent along with the Mint Macaron plants. To make this a beautiful but functional card, I added a birthday greeting inside along with a couple more succulents. Let's delve into the nitty gritty and talk about how all the colors from the challenge were used.  Obviously I love SWEET SUGARPLUM, I used it for the card base and one of the succulent plants.  It's a great light purple that reminds me of the old Pale Plum that Stampin' Up! had years ago when I first started stam

Welcome to the second part of the August Blog Hops with the Color Fusers Design Team!  This month we are featuring a super gorgeous color combination of Cherry Cobbler, Watermelon Wonder and Smokey Slate.  Be sure to click on the links below to visit all the blogs for tons of fabulous inspiration! I went with my favorite style of the moment, CLEAN AND SIMPLE!  A perfect stamp to do this with is the new SUNSHINE SAYINGS . I used the coordinating thinlits to create a clean look in just 10 minutes! Love the whimsical look of these thinlits!  I went with Smokey Slate for my card base to the Watermelon Wonder heart and Cherry Cobbler sentiment would pop against it.  Extra stamping was required to complete the sentiment.  I added in "& hugs" below with Basic Gray Archival Ink and embossed "sending" in white to add above.  I love the different textures and colors combined together....very fun!
