Welcome to the first week of the September COLOR FUSE BLOG HOP!  Twice a month on the first and third Monday’s we’ll be bringing you inspiration through color!  September's hops will feature four gorgeous colors. I picked a stamp set you may not have thought of for this set of colors. LIVE, LOVE, GROW is a favorite of mine!  I just love the sweet succulents and sentiments.  I know you would typically think of this set being in neutrals and greens, but I love the idea of throwing in a Sweet Sugarplum succulent along with the Mint Macaron plants. To make this a beautiful but functional card, I added a birthday greeting inside along with a couple more succulents. Clean and simple cards are such a joy to create!  A nice white card with a crisp design makes me so happy!  The sweet set LIVE,LOVE,GROW is so perfect for this style of card making.   See what I mean, a bright crisp card is good stuff!  I found my inspiration from sketch challenge FMS249 at Freshly Made Sketches.  This was such a fun sketch to work with, you can really use your imagination with this one!     It all started with SERENE SCENERY Designer Paper Stack.  I used the design that looks like wood flooring as my background strip.  The sentiment embossed in white on black really pops against this lighter color of DSP.  The embossed words were created with the awesome new set LABELER ALPHABET .  I love that there are two styles of alphabet to work with.  I was able to lay out the letters and stamp it all at once, super easy! Ok, I have to start out by saying that this set is pure indulgence for me.  I fell in love with LIVE, LOVE, GROW as soon as I saw it.  A lot of the time, I look at sets for the potential of what I can make to sell or use otherwise for my business.  This set is purely for ME!  I have always loved succulents so this set is perfect!  For my first card, I went seriously clean and simple. Isn't the simplicity perfection!  Nothing is better than a nice crisp white card with a beautiful stamp set to showcase. Smokey Slate is perfect for the dome and then all of the succulents are different shades of green.  It was quite refreshing to sit and stamp this card in under ten minutes!
