I have holiday card to share today for the sketch challenge from Try Stampin' on Tuesday .  Here's a quick look at the sketch for this week.   I am still in holiday card mode so I pulled out Holiday Home and my heat gun to make this fun sparkly card. I just LOVE the houses from this set!!  And they worked out perfectly with this weeks sketch, a smaller house in between two taller.  I added in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper for snow and stars in the sky.  The houses are all heat embossed in white and die cut so the card came together quickly. So...now it's your turn!  If you are still needing to make holiday cards like me, why not make one using this week's sketch!  You can find all the details plus more great samples at Try Stampin' on Tuesday. Thanks so much for visiting!  Happy Stamping! Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a wonderful day with your friends and family! I have a card to share with you today for the Thursday challenge from Create with Connie and Mary .  Here's a look at this week's sketch. I love the simplicity of this sketch!  I wanted to do something a little unexpected, so I flipped the sketch upside down and used the tall house from Holiday Home for my banners. Is this too fun or what!!!  I pondered different designer papers and just didn't get a good feel from them.  So, I looked through my stamps and came across the tall house in Holiday Home that mimicked the banner and knew that was my card! All three houses were heat embossed in white on different colors of cardstock.  I went with Basic Gray, Smokey Slate and Soft Sky.  All three colors look beautiful against the Lost Lagoon card base that was embossed with the Lucky Stars embossing folder. Below the houses is a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (LOVE IT!) ...

Happy Tuesday!  Today I have a cheerful Holiday Home card to share for the sketch challenge this week from Try Stampin' on Tuesday . I wasn't too sure about what to use for this sketch, so I looked through my stamps and decided to use Holiday Home and make two houses. I think this card looks so warm and inviting, don't you??  The beautiful Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack has such gorgeous designs.  The red plaid just made this card perfect! Both houses were colored with blendabilities and die cut to add over the layer of Silver glimmer paper acting as snow. Santa and his sleigh ride above the houses with the sentiment stamped in Cherry Cobbler below.  I didn't add any extra bling, I felt the card was perfect just sweet and simple as you see it. Designer paper is such a wonderful way to bring life to your cards.  The Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack has been so wonderful to work with!!  Now it's your turn!  I hope you will give the challenge a try ...

As promised I have another card for you today.  This one is for the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge from Technostamper .  Mary Jo has another fun sketch for us this week. I have been itching to make a card with Holiday Home, so that's what I went with for today's card. This set is just so versatile, I love that you can change it up for the seasons.  For this card, I went with fall using Motley Monsters Designer as my inspiration. The card base is Sahara Sand for a muted background.  The woodgrain layers are also Sahara Sand stamped with Sahara Sand ink and the Hardwood background stamp.  A layer of leaves paper comes next as the back drop for the house. The house was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White and colored with Crumb Cake and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities.  Once die cut with the matching framelit, the house was added to the card with dimensionals.  The simple sentiment was added below with Early Espress ink. I really love how cu...

It's Thursday and time for a new challenge from Create with Connie and Mary .  This week it's a color challenge with Smokey Slate, Cherry Cobbler and Lost Lagoon. I have been wanting to give Holiday Home a try, so I used it for my card today. Is this cute or what?!!  Since this was a color challenge I kept the houses a solid color with white heat embossing and I LOVE the way they look!!  The Smokey Slate card base was a perfect background for these super cute houses.  A starry night was made with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder and a few silver glimmer stars from the Confetti Star Punch.  But...my favorite part of the whole card is Santa and his sleigh flying across the sky.  This stamp set is just sooooo cute, I can't wait to make more cards with it! I hope you will join this week's color challenge and make a card with me!  Just go to Create with Connie and Mary for all the details plus more great samples from the Design Team.  And don't forg...
