Top Note Santa and Reindeer Tags

Image
Today I'd like to share another top note box..Santa!  I love how this turned out!   His face and beard are the top note, and his hat is half of the small pennant die.  I used my scallop border punch to create the trim for his hat and circle and ovals for everything else. Now for the contents..I made cute reindeer tags using what else..the owl punch! Here's a close up of the tag . I used one of the snowflakes from the set of 4 die cuts to make the antlers and used Sparkly and Bright for the greeting. Thanks so much for stopping by..please come back again to check out more of the Big Shot creations that I'm working on. Penguin card set

Image
Tonight's share is a top note penguin box.  It holds a set of 4 cards with the penguin made from the owl punch. This box is so cute and can be used for a number of cute little gifts.  Today I chose to put a set of 3x3 cards in it, since I am addicted to making penguins with the owl punch! This whole project comes together quite quickly and makes a great gift.  I have a couple other top note character boxes in the works that I'll be posting next, so come back for a visit.  Thanks so much for looking at my artwork, I appreciate it!  if you need supplies to make your own penguin top note box and cards, you can shop on my Stampin' Up! website . Penguin Pencil Holder Tutorial

Image
Today's share is all about pencil holders.  I think this is such a cute idea...it is super versatile, you can use it for any holiday or event.  Here' a quick tutorial on how to make this cute pencil holder. Start out with a piece of card stock measuring 7 3/4"  x  4 5/8" .  Score the 4 5/8" side at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4". I stamped my snowflake background with a stamp from Serene Snowflakes. I used the white gel pen to add life to the snowflakes. I used a sponge to add white craft ink to make it look like snow on the card stock. To assemble the pencil holder, add sticky strip to the slender area created by the scoring and the bottom.  Here it is assembled. I used my crimping tool to add dimension to the bottom. I used the 1 1/4" circle punch to make a half circle at the top. I added let it snow with a stamp from Punch Pals. I stamped and colored in the penguin from Punch Pals using my versa marker and stamp pads. Here is the completed pencil holder with

The last festival pictures

Image
Today I'd like to share with you the last pictures from the festival.  This first one is a bookmark set, it is a chipboard and ribbon bookmark and a matching gift card. I also had a butterfly set that I forgot to take a picture of and it sold out, so I have to make more to show you another time. Here is a group of fun snowman cards.  I did the same design in 4 colors.   Here is an up close picture of one. The card has the snowflake embossed from the Norther Flurry embossing folder, a little bit of ribbon, and shimmer spray added for a final touch.  These were fun to make and everyone really liked them. These are the last 2 pictures of my table. These are the Halloween pencil holders, they are always a big hit.  I don't have an up close picture of them, but you'll see a Christmas version later. This shows the front of my table, it had the pricing info in the center.  I have done individual tags on each item in the past, but didn't for this outside event.  I am glad too..

Punch art penguins

Image
Today I'd like to share with you penguin punch art using the new owl punch.  I found lots of great uses for Halloween with this punch, now I am working on Christmas!  My first character is a cute penguin that I used to make a jumbo paperclip bookmark and a matching 4x4 Christmas card. I love penguins and thought this would be a real cute gift to give as a set.  I actually used this duo as a booking gift for my workshop today (thanks for the great party Jackie..I had a blast!).  Here are a couple close ups of the bookmark. This is a super easy little guy to put together, I just cut the ears off the owl, added white for his vest, and pumpkin pie for his nose and feet. Here are close ups of the card, inside and outside. I love how this card turned out.  I used the new snowflake embossing folder from the Holiday Mini Catalog and added some snow by tearing white paper and adding dazzling diamonds glitter.  The final touch, which is impossible to see in photos, is the glimmer on the card

More Cider Festival Treats

Image
Today's share is the M&M sliders that I made for the Cider Festival.  This is a treat I've been making for a few years now and is really very simple.  Just a piece of cardstock wrapped around the m&m's and a ribbon to pull slide them out with.  I used retired paper (same with the pumpkin poop) and the Wicked Cool set.   As you can imagine, the kids LOVED this one.  It really is such a cute treat.  As with the pumpkin poop, it is always something that I make for these kinds of events. Here are a couple pictures of my set up.  It was pretty basic, we were outside in limited space with just a couple of tables. Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been up to.  I will post more Cider Festival pics over the next couple of days so be sure to check back.  If you would like to make your own M&M sliders and need supplies, you can order on my Stampin' Up! website .  Now is a great time to buy online, Stampin' Up! has added some fantastic clearance rack deal

Halloween Treats

Image
Hi everyone, sorry I've not shared in a week or so.  I have been busy preparing for a festival that took place over the weekend.  It was rained out halfway through the day so I was bummed, but I have lots of goodies and pictures to show you.  Today's share is Pumpkin Poop.  I got this idea from Melissa Stout, you can get her  directions HERE .   This was a very popular item, the kids wanted the candy and the adults thought the poem was hilarious.  This is something I will always do for a fesitval or craft show, it's just too cute not to include. Thanks so much for stopping by.  I will be posting more of my festival crafts and upcoming holiday ideas.  If you'd like to make your own Pumpkin Poop, you can go to my Stampin' Up! website and purchase supplies online. Have a great day! If it doesn't move...stamp it! Nicole Tugrul Your Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
