Baby Cards

Image
I have been MIA for a couple weeks, I have been working overtime. But, now I am back to my regular schedule and I have been making baby cards. I LOVE the Nursery Necessities set. I ended up with 3 really cute cards. More cards and projects will be uploaded soon...the new catty is coming and I can't wait to get my hands on all the great new stamps and embellishments. Thanks for looking!

More cool projects

Jar from IKEA that Ann brought with her. We used punches and ribbon to add color. This is a great little hostess gift. This is the paper bag purse. I went back and added a little ribbon at the bottom of the decorative paper, it needed a little something more. I have had so many things running through my mind lately that I can't keep them all straight! I need to start a list of things to make...there are just too many cool projects out there! These are a couple of the projects I made with Ann, Jackie and Audrey when they visited last time. The cute jar was something Ann had found at IKEA, I think it is such a great little gift. And the bag purse was a cute idea I found on Beate's blog. Thanks for all your inspiration girls!!!

Scrapbooking

I spent some time scrapbooking yesterday, I found this really cute project in my massive pile of project ideas. It is a tutorial from StampinTerri, I had printed it off in 2007 and have just now gotten to try it. The idea is very simple, 1 sheet of 12x12 cardstock cut in half and scored to create a base. Then you glue in 6 invitation size envelopes to create a file folder for you pictures. Just cute down cardstock to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 to go in each envelope and you have a really cute brag book. This is a perfect project for using Simply Scrappin kits, you have everything you need..you can make several books from one set depending on how many adhesive dye cuts used for each book. I have done 2 so far from last catalog's level 3 Simply Scrappin kit. Thanks Terri for the great instructions!

Mini Book Birthday Card

Ann showed me this cute little mini book made from a single sheet of 12x12 designer paper. I added tags for each of the pages, all the tags say Happy Birthday in some way or another. I used Jersey Shore Designer Paper and many different Birthday sets.
