It's hard to believe we are just a week away from Christmas...are you ready??  I'm not!!  I still have lots of decorating to do, not mention shopping.  The one thing I do have done is Christmas cards.  But just because I have them completed doesn't mean they are in the mail!! I am always late on cards, just seems to be my way.  Today I have a fun Santa Stache card to share with you that I made for the color challenge from Create with Connie and Mary .  The colors they chose are perfect for Christmas! Santa Stache was the first stamp set that came to mind when I saw these colors.  I wanted to keep the card clean and simple with Santa being the main focus. The card started out with a Cherry Cobbler base embossed with stars.  A banner from the Party Pennants die came next with the sentiment stamped along the bottom. Santa was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Cherry Cobbler and Flesh Tones Blendabilities. Last little touch was a...

It's a new week and I have a couple of cards to share for Monday challenges.  The first challenge is from the Creative Challenge Club . I know this sketch has an acorn and a leaf, but I wanted to use Santa from Santa Stache. Isn't this a great Christmas version of today's sketch??  I just can't get enough of Santa Stache, this set is so fun to work with. Are you noticing all the stars??  I told you I LOVE the star products we have right now.  No matter how hard I try, I keep adding them to all my cards! This card has some great basic Christmas colors...Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Gold and Crumb Cake.  The Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack was the start of this card.  I knew that I wanted to contrast the Cherry Cobbler of Santa with Garden Green paper of some sort.  This particular star pattern was perfect, it's subtle which I like. Santa is colored with Blendabilities as usual. I kept him simple and didn't use much color on his beard this time....

Week 3 Blog Hop!

Well, we have come to the last project for the Holiday Card "Create"tions Collection.  The time went by so quickly!  I hope you have enjoyed all the amazing card sets shared by the Design Team, I know I have! Today we have our final BLOG HOP showcasing a 3D item from the Holiday Catalog, the Petite Cafe Gift Bag. You should be coming from Melissa's blog .  Make sure you complete the circle so you can see all the awesome projects we've created for you. I am featuring Santa Stache for my Petite Cafe Gift Bag, it was soooo fun to embellish! I love the size of this cafe bag, it's just the right to give a treat or even some stamping goodies to someone.  For the bag itself, I first sponged Cherry Cobbler stars with the star decorative mask.  I covered both the front and back. Next came Santa.  I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink then added color with Blendabilities.  After cutting him out, I adhered him to a banner cut from Trim the Tree Designer pap...

It's Thursday and time for a new challenge from Create with Connie and Mary .  This week we have a fun color challenge with Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizzaz and Smokey Slate. I made a simple card using Santa Stache and Endless Wishes.  I know these colors are not typical for Christmas, but I think made it work....what do you think? I think Santa looks good in Smokey Slate!  I kept him clean and simple, no coloring this time.  The card began with a Lost Lagoon ready cut card base and a layer of Pear Pizzaz.  Next was Whisper White with all the stamping. I first stamped Santa then added in snowflakes from Endless Wishes.  I stamped off once with Pear Pizzaz so the snowflakes wouldn't be too dark.  The super cute sentiment was added to the bottom in Lost Lagoon.  To add a little sparkle, I placed a small rhinestone in the center of each snowflake. This was super easy to do, I love the simplicity of design.  I almost made the mustache 3D, but it just di...
