This was a great opportunity to make a card for my best friend who is always a superhero for me. I combined a couple of sets, EVERYDAY HERO and LIFT ME UP.  They work together beautifully!  The clouds and the sentiment from Lift Me Up was a perfect compliment to the superhero!  I made it bold and colorful and just love how it turned out!  If you'd like to give this a try, check out my supply list below. Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week our theme is LOVE IS IN THE AIR. I went with the obvious choice and used LIFT ME UP for my card today.  It's a simple design which is my favorite lately! I thought about doing this on watercolor paper and adding a wash of blue for the sky, but instead I went with the WATERCOLOR WASH background stamp.  This is one of my favorite backgrounds ever made and it was perfect for this card. I added the sentiment in Dapper Denim, it's a nice complimentary color to Soft Sky.  The balloon was a combination of Flirty Flamingo and Watermelon Wonder.  The pink balloon stand out nicely against the blue sky and white clouds. I wanted to make an uplifting card for a friend today, so what better stamp set to use than LIFT ME UP . There are so many ways to use the beautiful balloon die cuts and stamps!  I ended up using the coordinating Sale-a-bration Freebie CARRIED AWAY DSP as inspiration.  The colors are beautiful and bright so it was easy to to come up with something.
