It's a new week and I have a couple of cards to share for Monday challenges.  The first challenge is from the Creative Challenge Club . I know this sketch has an acorn and a leaf, but I wanted to use Santa from Santa Stache. Isn't this a great Christmas version of today's sketch??  I just can't get enough of Santa Stache, this set is so fun to work with. Are you noticing all the stars??  I told you I LOVE the star products we have right now.  No matter how hard I try, I keep adding them to all my cards! This card has some great basic Christmas colors...Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Gold and Crumb Cake.  The Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack was the start of this card.  I knew that I wanted to contrast the Cherry Cobbler of Santa with Garden Green paper of some sort.  This particular star pattern was perfect, it's subtle which I like. Santa is colored with Blendabilities as usual. I kept him simple and didn't use much color on his beard this time....

Welcome to the BLOG HOP for Week 2 of the Holiday Card "Create"tions Collection!  This week we are featuring the all too cute Tiny Treat Boxes from page 10 of the Holiday Catalog. My card set for Week 2 was Get Your Santa On, so my treat box coordinates with the set. Isn't this just too cute!!  The box is very small and I didn't want to overwhelm it with the larger stamps from the set.  So I went with Santa's hat and lots of embellishments.  I wanted a window to show the treats inside, but that was easier said than done!  The box is too small for the larger punches to fit in and die cutting wasn't possible either.  So, I used the smaller size punch and it fit just right!  The window was made with the Petite Curly Label Punch.  All I had to do after that was cut a small square of wind...

Now, for my card featuring Santa from Get Your Santa On. Isn't this too fun!  As you all know, I am all about shaker cards right now.  So of course I had to make one for Santa!  The set is so fun and easy to use since it's photopolymer and you can see exactly where you are stamping! The shaker has the new Frosted Sequins and the small stars from the Confetti Star Punch.  For extra sparkle, I added Silver Glimmer stars around the outside of the shaker.  I love the star theme and Stampin' Up! has given us so many ways to use them....it's so easy to coordinate!
