Colorful Lighthearted Leaf
Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week we are featuring FALL CARDS. I looked through all my stamps for fall and no matter how hard I tried to ignore it, LIGHTHEARTED LEAVES just kept calling my name! I know that I've done LOTS of cards with this set, but I have yet to color the leaves with MARKERS! So today is the day for a very colorful leaf! I love Bermuda Bay paired with Pumpkin Pie, so that was my starting point. I also threw in Soft Suede and a little Pool Party. The combination turned out stunning and is perfect for fall! The leaf was stamped in black then colored in with all the colors mentioned above. I tried to make a bit of a pattern with the colors to bring the leaf to life. I went with a simple Soft Suede card base, no embossing or stamping on it.....it was hard but I refrained! With this simple base, the focal point really shines.
