More Mini Clothespins!

Image
Welcome back! Today is the last day of Preview week for the new Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Card "Create"tions Collection!  All week I have been sharing projects made with products from the new Holiday catalog.  Today I have another set of cute little mini clothes pins embellished for Halloween. I can't get enough of these, they are so stinkin' cute!  I have made two sets and you know I will have to make Christmas ones too!  Just like yesterday's set, I used designer paper.  This one is a combination of Brights Collection and Motley Monsters. I die cut a Bermuda Bay banner to hold the clips.  I went with a simple sentiment stamped with the super fun Alphabet Rotary stamp. I also went with different packaging for this set.  I used a vellum bag from last year that is embellished with the new White and Tangerine Tango Two-Tone Trim.   A couple of holes punched in the end of the bag made it easy to add a quick bow. I hope you enjoyed this second set!!  Be sure

I have a really cute project to share today for Halloween.  Remember the mini clothespin I shared with you on Wednesday ?  Well, I loved that cute little clothespin so much I made a couple of sets. Are these adorable or what?!!  The Motley Monster Designer Series Paper makes a great embellishments for these little guys.  This set of four was so quick to make, I make another set that I will share with you tomorrow. Each clip has a magnetic backing so they can be useful and cute! To package them, I simply die cut a Basic Black Apothecary Accent and embellished it.  There are spooky white eyes , Candy dots and a sentiment.  Check back tomorrow for another set that is packaged a little differently but just as cute!  And, be sure to stop over at Create with Connie and Mary!   We are coming to the end of Preview Week for the Holiday Card "Create"tions Collection and there is still BLOG CANDY to be had!  So hurry over and see what the new collection is all about!! Sophisticated Halloween Treat

Image
Welcome back!  It's day 3 of Preview Week for Holiday Card "Create"tions and I have a treat to share!  I like to combine the old with the new, so that's what I've done today. Now, the box isn't exactly old, it's from July's My Paper Pumpkin kit.  But, I haven't touched it since July and we have a brand new Holiday Catalog coming out, so it was already forgotten.  When I got the kit, I saw the Rich Razzleberry striped boxes and thought of Halloween immediately.  So, I decided to make a more grown-up sophisticated Halloween treat. I put the box together and did a few quick embellishments to make a very chic Halloween treat with Ghirardelli chocolates. To dress up the inside, I cut a strip of white tissue paper and added Rich Razzleberry stars with the star decorative mask.  I tucked the paper inside the box and stacked up the chocolates.  The tops of the tissue paper folded over to show stars when the boxes is opened. The tag is stamped with a greeti

Fall is on it's Way!

For the sketch challenge this week from Try Stampin' on Tuesday, I made a fall card.  The leaves will be falling before we know it.... hard to believe August is coming to an end!  Here's a look at the sketch we are working with this week. And here's my fall card featuring Truly Grateful. I blended the old with the new for this card.  The sentiment is from Truly Grateful which can be found in the main catalog.  I added in new items from the Holiday catalog as well.  Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper is soooo gorgeous!  It has a beautiful colors and designs just for fall.  The wood charm tied to the twine is also from the Holiday catalog.  It's part of the Autumn Wood Elements.  This little set of wood die cuts is perfect for embellishing your fall cards and gifts. This was a fast and simple card to make with hardly any stamping!  This is the kind of card that can be thrown together with paper scraps at the last minute....I love that! Now, it's your turn to give t

This is a small bag.  For today's card, I had to cut it down.  The top right picture shows the top cut off and the bottom left shows the side cut off.  I

I am so excited..... it's Preview Week for the Holiday Card "Create"tions Collection from Create with Connie and Mary!!   Be sure to stop by their blog each day, we have FREE Tutorials and BLOG CANDY for you all week!!  Today Mary has blog candy and a tutorial for you, so be sure to visit and leave her a comment! Now, on to my fun Halloween treats.  I love the new Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper so I made quick and easy sour cream containers. Aren't these cute?!  What kid (or adult for that matter) wouldn't love to get one of these colorful treats?  They best part is that they are super easy to make! Cut your paper 4 1/4" x 5" and form a cylinder.  I used fast fuse to seal the paper together, it holds up much better than SNAIL for this type of project.  Next, simply pinch one end together and seal.  I stuck a few glue dots in the seam.  Then, pinch the other end together in the opposite direction and seal.  Be sure to put your treats in first!  Yo
