Today I have another card similar to yesterday's......except a different bow! Take a look. As I said yesterday, I try to make cards in pairs and sometimes I switch things up a little.  This time I changed my greeting and my bow.  I used the oval punch bow for today's card using the Extra large Oval Punch.  The flower in the center is smaller and instead of being colored Wisteria Wonder re-inker, I used a flower I had hanging around that was Night of Navy.  All the rest of the card details are the same as yesterday.  I hope you liked the bow change up, they are so fun to make!  Thanks for checking out today's card.  Stop by again tomorrow for my Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge card using You're My Hero.  If it doesn't move...stamp it!! Today I have another paper bow to share.  This time it's on a birthday card that features the new DSP called Afternoon Picnic. The bow on this card is very similar to the ones I made for the paper clips, just much larger!  Here's the details on the card: 1.  I chose Crushed Curry as my card base and added a layer of Very Vanilla to build upon. 2.  Added a layer of Wisteria Wonder that has scallops punched along the top.  Next added a layer of the Afternoon Picnic DSP. 3.  Made a Wisteria Wonder Paper bow with a Simply Pressed clay flower that has a large pearl in the center. 4.  Lastly, I added the Happy Birthday greeting from Perfectly Penned in Wisteria Wonder. I have a quick card share today using Mosaic Madness.  I wanted to make a bright and cheerful birthday card, here's what I came up with. I paired Strawberry Slush and Daffodil Delight.  Here's the details: 1.  Card base is Whisper White.  I rounded the bottom two corners and added large scallop paper piercing around three sides. 2.  Used Quatrefancy DSP in Strawberry Slush measuring 5" x 3" with the bottom two corners rounded. 3.  Stamped a pattern in Daffodil Delight with one of the stamps from Mosaic Madness on Whisper White.  Then die cut a circle with the circles framelits.  I used the fourth circle in from the largest, measures 3 3/16". 4.  Stamped sentiment from Sweet Essentials in Strawberry Slush and added Candy Dots. 5.  Final piece is a paper bow made with the Quatrefancy DSP added under the sentiment. Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Today we have a new Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge at Technostamper.  This week's sketch was great.  I took one look and formed an idea of what I wanted to do.  First let's look at the sketch. I love the banners on this sketch, they are so much fun on cards.  I used a retired DSP, mainly because I love it.  It was also perfect for the card I wanted to make.  Here it is. Don't you just love this DSP?  So cute!  I even used a color I haven't touched in forever, Perfect Plum.  Here's the details. 1.  Card base is Perfect Plum.  DSP from Nursery Necessities cut at 3 3/4" x 4 1/4".  Punched a border for the top and bottom of the DSP using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. 2.  Die cut a circle from Whisper White card stock.  I used the 3 3/16" circle from the new Circle Framelits.  It's the fourth one starting from the outside in.  Paper pi...

Ok......I have a new obsession......PAPER BOWS!  I've had so much fun making these all weekend, they are truly addictive!  Have you seen all the fun bows made with ovals?  Well that's the bow I can't stop making.  They are easy to do and I have a ton of DSP scraps that are perfect for this project.  Here's some of the bows I've made so far. I started out making the bow on the paper clip that is on page 152 in the new catalog. I tried it out and loved it! So then I thought, what about the oval bows on a paper clip...would be super cute.  Here's the first oval punch bow using the larger sizes with the Wisteria Wonder DSP from Afternoon Picnic. This bow is pretty big for the paper clip.  I used the Large and Extra Large Oval punches.  I thought smaller might be better, so that leads to these two bows.
