Color Me Christmas for TSSC291

Happy Monday!  Today we have a clean and simple sketch for this week's Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge from Mary Jo at Technostamper. I have really come to love clean and simple designs.  I used Color Me Christmas for this card, works so well with this sketch. The base is simply Whisper White with a 1 1/2" strip of paper from the Season of Style DSP Pack.  To add a little pop of color, I added a Gumball Green scalloped edge to the DSP.  The greeting stamped with Gumball Green adds a little extra color as well. Santa is stamped onto Glossy Whhite card stock with StazOn Black.  I used a blender pen and ink pads to color him in.  I fussy cut him out and adhered him to the card with a couple of dimensionals.  A super fun and super quick card! This was such a great challenge, I hope you will join me!  You can see cards made by other members of the design team by clicking on the links below.  Go to Technostamper to find out more...

It's Thursday and time for a new challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.  This week we have a sketch, a square one for a change up. I haven't done a square card in quite awhile, so this was a fun challenge!  I went with a smaller size square, 4 1/4".    Color me Christmas was the first set to jump into my head, here's what I came up with. I have been into making Christmas cards, so I figured I'd just replace the flower in the sketch with a cute little reindeer!  Here are all the details. 1.  Cut Gumball Green cards stock 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" to make my 4 1/4" square card. 2.  Cut Real Red card stock 3 3/4" x 1 3/4" then embossed it with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder.  Added it to my card with SNAIL. 3.  Cut a 3/4" x 3 3/4" strip of polka dot paper from the Season of Style DSP pack. Added it to the card next to the Real Red card stock. 4.  Stamped the reindeer on Whissper White card stock with StazOn Black ink.  Colored hi...

It's Monday again and time for a new sketch from Mary Jo at Technostamper.  Another really fun sketch this week, take a look. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do at first.  I took at look at my stamps from the Holiday catalog and decided to go with a Christmas card.  But not just any card , a pop up card with Color Me Christmas as the main focus.  Here's the front of the card. The first part of the card I focused on was the banners on the left side.  I thought about using Gorgeous Grunge or card stock banners.  But then I realized that the chevron stamp from A Banner Christmas would work perfectly for the sketch.  I used Old Olive, Real Red, and Crumb Cake for my chevron colors.  The greeting is from Oh, Goodie.  It's stamped with Real Red on Whisper White and die cut with a Bitty Banner Framelit.  Santa was stamped with StazOn Black on Glossy card stock and fussy cut so it could be added to the card with dimensionals.  I colored Sant...

It's Thursday and time for a new challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.  This week is a sketch challenge, take a look. What a great sketch!  I have been working with Color Me Christmas a lot lately, so I used it for this sketch as well. I am just loving this super cute stamp set!  Here's all the details about how this card came together. 1.  Chocolate Chip card base that is slightly smaller than the norm.  4" x 11", embossed with the new Stylish Stripes EF.   A layer of Cherry Cobbler card stock added measuring at 4 1/4" x 3 3/4" to make it hang over the card base on each side. 2.  A Whisper white layer on top of the Cherry Cobbler with a banner and arrow from the Season of Style DSP pack at the bottom.  Merry Christmas from Petite Pairs stamped above the DSP with Cherry Cobbler ink. 3.  Focal point added using Color Me Christmas. Stamped the cute reindeer with StazOn Black ink on Whisper White then die cut with the scallop circle from t...

It's Monday, time for a new Lunchtime Sketch challenge!  I used Color me Christmas again this week, I am just loving this cute set!  First let me show you the sketch Mary Jo gave us. I have been into simple cards, so this sketch was perfect for me!  Here's the card I made.  I really enjoyed making this card, I got to use my glossy card stock that I miss so much!  The card base is Whisper White, but the stamped images are on glossy white.  I stamped them with StazON Black and cut them out.  They were colored in with a blender pen and ink pads.  I love how bright and happy the images turned out!  I didn't want the card to feature only traditional Christmas colors, so I threw in Pacific Point to add a little kick!  Once all the images were colored and cut out, I added them to the right side of the card with dimensionals.  But first, I paper pierced a straight line down the card and added Candy Dots to follow the sketch.  I stamped...
