Toil & Trouble for TSSC285

It's Monday and time for another great sketch challenge from Mary Jo at Technostamper. I decided to go with Halloween for this week's sketch.  I haven't used Toil & Trouble for a couple weeks, so I pulled it out for this card. I am super pleased with how this turned out.  It's a pretty simple card to put together, here's what I did. 1.  Picked Crumb Cake card stock for the card base.  Stamped the large stamp from Toil & Trouble with White Craft Ink on the right side. 2.  Stamped the skeleton with Basic Gray on the bottom left of the large white stamp, overlapped slightly. 3.  Cut a strip of Witches Brew DSP 1 1/4" x 5 1/2" and adhered it to the left side of the card. 4.  Finally, added punched black bats (retired Bat Punch) with dimensionals. And there you have it, a super fun Halloween card that took no time at all! I hope you will join me and create a card of your own! Happy Monday!  It's time for a new sketch challenge from Mary Jo at Technostamper.  Here's the great sketch she has for us this week. As I've said before, I am very into Halloween right now (yes I know it's early!) so I used Toil & Trouble for today's card.  I did take liberty with the sketch, here it is. Instead of doing a square focal point, I used the Apothecary Accents Framelit.  I stamped the large image from Toil & Trouble on Whisper White and heat embossed in black.  Then I went back with sponge daubers and ink pads to add color.  The Old Olive behind the framelit is embossed with the Chevron EF and has Rich Razzleberry ribbon tied around it.  I attached my focal point with dimensionals, this way I could tuck a crow under the top right side just like the sketch. As I said yesterday, fall is creeping closer and I am enjoying making Halloween cards!  I used Toil & Trouble for today's Thursday Challenge card at Create with Connie and Mary.  First, here is the sketch for the week. I took this week's sketch pretty liberally and turned this pretty spring looking sketch with a flower into this. I was inspired to do a Halloween card since it's Preview week for the Create with Connie and Mary Fall Collection 2013. Here's what I did: 1.  Picked  Pumpkin Pie as my card base and embossed it with the Houndstooth EF. 2.  Die cut a Whisper White circle then stamped the large Toil & Trouble stamp with Versa Mark and embossed it in black.  I added a hand cut circle of black card stock as a matting to make the words stamd out. 3.  Color was added over the words on the circle using sponge daubers and ink (emboss resist technique).  The colors are Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. 4.  Added the strips of paper and th...
