Instead of a card, I went 3D today with a sweet little Baker's Box. Is this cute or what?!!!  I have to admit, I got the Baker's Box Thinlet back in May, but up until now I haven't really done much with it.  But I am glad I went in this direction today, I think this box looks great in Mint Macaron! A bit of gold and natural wood add a little interest and coordinate well with Mint Macaron. I used the coordinating set Homemade for You to add polka dots all around the box and on the starburst in the front.  A bit of Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim makes a nice closure with a small clothes pin. Yay it's Friday!!  I am so glad the weekend is here, it's been another busy week here at my house!  I have a quick project to share with you today using Wondrous Wreath.  I chose that set because today my third project for the Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Collection went live!  This collection is full of amazing ideas to make your holidays brighter.  If you are not a subscriber, there is still time!  Just go to Create with Connie and Mary for all the details! Now, on to the set of gift tags.  I wanted to try a new color combination for the wreath, so I went with brighter colors. Can you guess what colors I used??  I went with Pistachio Pudding and Wild Wasabi for the leaves and Strawberry Slush for the berries.  Isn't this a fabulous combination?! I'm back for card number two!  This one is for the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge from Technostamper .  Per ususal, Mary Jo has an awesome sketch for us. I usually don't make square cards, I adapt the sketch to a standard size.  But this time, I went ahead and used the square design to create a beautiful frosty winter scene card with White Christmas. Is this the perfect winter scene or what?!  Like I said earlier...I love this sweet little bear.  So for this scene, I had him standing on the hill looking up at a Christmas cardinal. The card base is Pool Party with a square of All is Calm Designer paper in the center.  I also added in Lost Lagoon Taffeta ribbon (so yummy!) and Silver Glimmer paper.  These frosty elements set up the focal point beautifully.  The snow seems real with the Dazzling Details shimmering along the hill.  The bear is stamped separately and added to the card with a small bit of dimensional.  He looks more realist...

Yay!  It's Friday!  I've had quite a week...been so busy I am glad the weekend is almost here!  Today my second project for the Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Collection went live and I am so excited about it!  For those of you who haven't subscribed yet, you can find out all the details at Create with Connie and Mary .  This session is full of AMAZING holiday ideas that you don't want to miss! Now, on to my Letterpress Winter party favor.  I just got the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlet Die (it's AWESOME) and I wanted to make something right away!  Since my daughter's birthday is around the corner, I designed a party favor for her Frozen themed party. Too cute, huh!  The box assembles very easily, so I know it will be no big deal to make a bunch. Welcome!  It's Friday (already!) and today my first project posted for the Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Collection.  I used Cheerful Tags and Trim the Tree Tag a Bag Kit for my tutorial.  It's not too late to subscribe and join us!  Just visit Create with Connie and Mary for all the details!  I made a set of four tags to show you today using the same items, the Trim the Tree Tag a Bag Kit and Cheerful Tags. The Trim the Tree Tag a Bag Kit is SO fun to work with, these tags came together with ease!  For this set, I used the banner shaped tags in four different designs.  Here's a close up of each. I changed the colors and ribbons up a little with each so there was a lot of variety.  Each tag has a different ribbon and little extras to make them unique.  The first tag has a custom colored ribbon.  I need a green ribbon but didn't have the right one, so I used the white organza and Old Olive blendabilities marker to make one! Today I have a couple of cards to share.  The first is a winter themed card for the Creative Challenge Club sketch. When I looked at the sketch, I thought a snowflake or star would be great in place of the flower.  So I went with Wintertime and a frosty set of colors. I love Pool Party for winter cards, usually it's paired with another blue or silver.  Today I combined it with a color I haven't used in forever....Wisteria Wonder.  The cool colors look BEAUTIFUL together!  A little silver added in and this card is a real gem. The base is embossed with the Northern Flurry embossing folder to add texture to the open area of cardstock.   The focal point of the card is the Wintertime stamp.  To get the two colors at one time, I used markers instead of ink pads.  The largest Apothecary framelit fit beautifully with the stamp, it just needed trimmed down a bit to fit along the side of the card. A bit of silver was added in for contrast and sparkle....

Now on to today's treat.  I really love the Tiny Treat Boxes so I made another one to share. These are just so stinkin' cute and so quick to make, I know I will be doing more!  The back of the box has paper from Trim the Tree designer paper stack.  Instead of putting paper around the outside of the box like the last one, I stamped instead.  I wanted a snowy feel and the beautiful snowflake from Cheerful Tags was perfect for the job.  I stamped all around the outside with White Craft ink then set it aside to dry while I worked on the rest. Now, on to the super cute treats I have for you today.  I got this idea from Sam at Pootles .  She made a great video on how to make these cute little candy holders.  They are easy to make and quick too!  So I gave it a go and made a set of three to share with you. Now how is that for cute and sparkly to boot!   Each box is made with a 4" x 4" piece of paper....that's it!  Just add some embellishments and candy and you're done! The first box I made uses a piece of the Smokey Slate design.  I LOVE this paper, it's just gorgeous!  I kept the embellishments simple with silver glimmer stars and silver sequins. ...
