Raindrops Keep Falling
Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week we have a really fun theme, RAINDROPS KEEP FALLIN' ON MY HEAD. Another fun theme for this month and another technique to share! I used watercolor paper again but in a different way. Aren't the rain drops fun! They were created by sponging ink onto the watercolor paper then sprinkling water over top to remove some color. It's another great way to get more out of your products! In this close up you can see the how the drops of water pulled the ink back off the paper. Just take your aqua painter or any paint brush and tap it over your paper with a little water. Then just use a paper towel to pull away the ink. I kept the card simple to really show off the raindrops. All I added was the sentiment and clouds from SPRINKLES OF LIFE .
