Rainbows
Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week our theme is SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW.
Another fun theme for this month and another watercolor card to share! I am officially obsessed with watercolor! Now it's been three Saturday's in a row with this style of cards.
Tons of color of course for a rainbow themed card! And every bit of color you see was done with ink pads and an aqua painter.
The blue sky was created with Dapper Denim ink and allowed to dry while I worked on the other elements. The word "RAINBOW" was next, it was heat embossed in black so the colors would stay put in each block letter. Even the word "sunshine" was die cut from watercolor paper then Daffodil Delight ink was added. I made some areas darker for the lovely contrast.
This is most definitely a happy card and a really fun one to create! I have all the supplies listed below if you'd like to give this a try and make your own watercolor rainbow card.
