Now, let's move on to my super fun star shaker card.
As I have said many a time, I LOVE STARS!! I combined several awesome star products to create this sparkly shaker card. First, the Coastal Cabana card base was embossed with stars after I die cut a star from the center.
I wanted the sentiment to show through, so the shaker shows through the card front. To make this happen, I used two stars die cut from window sheet along with Frosted Sequins and Silver Glimmer paper. To give an area for the sequins to move around, I used the slender edges from my dimensionals to create space. If you all would like to see a picture tutorial, let me know when you comment. If enough of you want one, I will work on it this week.
The inside greeting lines up with the star to show through. I kept it monochromatic and used Coastal Cabana for the sentiment from Cheerful Tags. I really love the silver glimmer paper with Coastal Cabana, it's such a great holiday color combo!
Supplies:
Stamps: Cheerful Tags
Paper: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer
Ink: Coastal Cabana
Accessories: Star Framelits, Confetti Star Punch, Lucky Stars Embossing Folder, Window Sheets, Frosted Sequins, In Color Sequins, Dimensionals
