Oh So Succulent

Along with everyone else, I am in love with SUCCULENTS!  And Stampin' Up! is right in line with the trends by bringing us the fabulous OH SO SUCCULENT Bundle in the new Occasions Catalog.

This gorgeous bundle is perfect for cards and 3D items as well, a dream come true!!  My first card has been inspired by the sketch challenge over at Create with Connie and Mary.

I actually combined several stamp sets to create this card.  As I've said before, Stampin' Up! sets coordinate beautifully!!!  I pulled the small mason jar from JAR OF LOVE.  I love having the succulents in a cute little container.  Plus this supplied one of the elements of the card sketch.  Next, the succulents came from OH SO SUCCULENT.  Each one has an outline stamp and a solid stamp to add color and dimension.  And finally, the sentiment is from LIVE,LOVE,GROW.

Did you notice the gorgeous designer paper??  It coordinates with the Succulent bundle, it's called Succulent Garden.  It's full of beautiful designs and soft colors.  I pulled my color inspiration from it.  Definitely a must have is you are getting the OH SO SUCCULENT Bundle.

Let's get ready for Halloween!

I don't know about you, but I love little treats and decorations for Halloween.  I am already planning out some party ideas that I thought would be fun to share! I've been busy as you can see!  It all started with the thought of doing a banner and I just kept going and going! Each piece of the banner has different stamps and die cuts from the Howl-o-ween Treat bundle and was way more fun to create than I anticipated!  The panels are each 4" x 6" with the banner end hand cut.  I am actually working on a tutorial to release next week with the instructions for the banner and the treats so you can make your own!  UPDATE: YOU CAN FIND THE TUTORIAL HERE! Preview Week Day 6 and BLOG CANDY!!

Woo Hoo!! Today is Day 6 of Preview Week and it's my turn to give away BLOG CANDY!!  I am super excited to be on the Design Team for the Spring Collection 2015 from Create with Connie and Mary. The new Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration Catalog are chock full of great products and we are here to give you great ideas for using them!!  Let me show you my card then I'll tell you more! I'm sure that anyone that follows my blog knows how much I love shaker cards and confetti, so I had to do one for today with a critter!!  The Cheerful Critters set is just so cute I knew it would be great as a shaker.
