Not Your Normal Fall Card

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week our theme is NOT YOUR NORMAL FALL CARD.

I wanted to do a crazy shape, but I don't really have any die cuts that I thought would work out well.  So I went with a square spinner card featuring ACORNY THANK YOU.

Spinner cards are so easy now with the awesome new SLIDING STAR FRAMELITS.

This set of framelits coordinates with the SHOOTING STAR stamp set, but it's not just for that!  I've shown you today that you can use the spinning die cuts for anything!

The card base is 4 1/4" x 8" in Soft Suede folded in half to give enough room for the spinner.  I popped up the top layer with the FOAM ADHESIVE STRIPS (a serious must have!) and used washers for the spinner.

I created a copper topped acorn with the ACORN BUILDER PUNCH and embossed the sentiment in copper to coordinate.  Love copper for fall!!

Let's get ready for Halloween!

I don't know about you, but I love little treats and decorations for Halloween.  I am already planning out some party ideas that I thought would be fun to share! I've been busy as you can see!  It all started with the thought of doing a banner and I just kept going and going! Preview Week Day 6 and BLOG CANDY!!

Woo Hoo!! Today is Day 6 of Preview Week and it's my turn to give away BLOG CANDY!!  I am super excited to be on the Design Team for the Spring Collection 2015 from Create with Connie and Mary. The new Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration Catalog are chock full of great products and we are here to give you great ideas for using them!!  Let me show you my card then I'll tell you more! I'm sure that anyone that follows my blog knows how much I love shaker cards and confetti, so I had to do one for today with a critter!!  The Cheerful Critters set is just so cute I knew it would be great as a shaker.
