Emerald Envy

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This month we are featuring the NEW IN COLORS!!  EMERALD ENVY is this week’s color, so rich and bold!

Lately I've been into the new stamp set SITTING HERE.  I normally go for bold, solid stamps, but something about this one called to me!

Isn't this gorgeous with Emerald Envy as the focus color!!  I coordinated the card base to the porch swing pillows and added a splash of Dapper Denim.

Sitting Here

To add a little interest on the card base, a die cut leaf was tucked under the left side of the focal point.  I like how it both blends and and stands out.

The inside of the card and envelope coordinate with the card front.  The leaf is carried over, love how simple yet beautiful it is!  The sentiment is heat embossed on black.  One of the sentiments from ROSE WONDER was a perfect compliment to the greeting on the front.

Clean and simple can really be the way to go with a bold color like this.  Even thought SITTING HERE has lots of great stamps to work with, simple has been the way to go for me!
