Mint Macaron!

Instead of a card, I went 3D today with a sweet little Baker's Box.

Is this cute or what?!!!  I have to admit, I got the Baker's Box Thinlet back in May, but up until now I haven't really done much with it.  But I am glad I went in this direction today, I think this box looks great in Mint Macaron!

A bit of gold and natural wood add a little interest and coordinate well with Mint Macaron.

I used the coordinating set Homemade for You to add polka dots all around the box and on the starburst in the front.  A bit of Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim makes a nice closure with a small clothes pin.

Baker's Box closure

The lace is folded over the back and held in place with the clothespin to make the box easy to open.  Also, I set the focal point on the front with a couple of dimensionals so the ribbon can be removed and re-purposed!  This was such a fun little treat to put together, I think I'll be trying out a few more designs this week!

Let's get ready for Halloween!

I don't know about you, but I love little treats and decorations for Halloween.  I am already planning out some party ideas that I thought would be fun to share! I've been busy as you can see!  It all started with the thought of doing a banner and I just kept going and going! Each piece of the banner has different stamps and die cuts from the Howl-o-ween Treat bundle and was way more fun to create than I anticipated!  The panels are each 4" x 6" with the banner end hand cut.  I am actually working on a tutorial to release next week with the instructions for the banner and the treats so you can make your own!  UPDATE: YOU CAN FIND THE TUTORIAL HERE! Now let's check out all the treats.  I wanted a variety so there would be something for everyone's taste. A Cupcake Birthday and BLOG CANDY!

Today is the second day of Preview Week for the Create with Connie and Mary Summer Collection 2014!  And I am super excited because it's my turn to offer BLOG CANDY!!  First, let me show you my card for today.  And yes...it's another birthday card! Isn't this just too cute!!  Do you recognize this card at all?  Well, I used a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge card that I made two weeks ago as my inspiration.  I just loved the banners so much from that card and thought they would be even cuter with this little cupcake. I changed up the colors and stamps but kept the design the same. The first part of the design was the cupcake and sentiment.  I stamped the cupcake pieces and punched them out to adhere to the card.  The sentiment was stamped next to it on the Whisper White. With the bottom of the card in place, the banners were easier to arrange.  I alternated my colors, Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, and Strawberry Slush....
