Cucumber Crush!

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  August is all about the new IN COLORS and today we are featuring CUCUMBER CRUSH!

Cucumber Crush meeets Lighthearted Leaves

Clean and simple looks good with this color!  But since I went with just Cucumber Crush and Whisper White, I did a fun style of card to kick it up!

It goes from simple to pop out swing card!  Isn't that great!  The inside is clean and simple too, just a little stamping and extra designer paper.  Can you guess where the designer paper is from??  It's part of the Cherry on Top DSP!  I think it looks wonderful with the leaves, a very nice contrast!

And speaking of nice contrast, how about the gorgeous sentiment from the Expressions Natural Elements.  I love how the natural wood looks with the leaves, it's a perfect pairing!

    I love what you've done with this stamp! I really never paid attention to it in the catalog, and have had a hard time envisioning the stamps themselves not used with the fall theme. You inspired me to order it!

Let's get ready for Halloween!

I don't know about you, but I love little treats and decorations for Halloween.  I am already planning out some party ideas that I thought would be fun to share! I've been busy as you can see!  It all started with the thought of doing a banner and I just kept going and going! Each piece of the banner has different stamps and die cuts from the Howl-o-ween Treat bundle and was way more fun to create than I anticipated!  The panels are each 4" x 6" with the banner end hand cut.  I am actually working on a tutorial to release next week with the instructions for the banner and the treats so you can make your own!  UPDATE: YOU CAN FIND THE TUTORIAL HERE! Preview Week Day 6 and BLOG CANDY!!

Woo Hoo!! Today is Day 6 of Preview Week and it's my turn to give away BLOG CANDY!!  I am super excited to be on the Design Team for the Spring Collection 2015 from Create with Connie and Mary. The new Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration Catalog are chock full of great products and we are here to give you great ideas for using them!!  Let me show you my card then I'll tell you more! I'm sure that anyone that follows my blog knows how much I love shaker cards and confetti, so I had to do one for today with a critter!!  The Cheerful Critters set is just so cute I knew it would be great as a shaker.
