A Happy Thing plus Preview Day 2

Happy Monday!  I have a sweet card to share with you today featuring A Happy Thing from Sale-a-bration.  I am sooooo sad that Sale-a-bration is ending tomorrow, all of these products are just so fun to work with!  I really loved my Lotus Blossom card from a few weeks ago so I decided to use the design with the happy bird since I've not done a card with it yet.



I think these colors are just gorgeous together and the bird looks amazing!  Here's a look at the card that I took this design from.



I kept the same basic layout the, just changed up the sentiment and embellishments.



I used the sentiment from Lotus Blossom.  It's stamped directly on the designer paper with Coastal Cabana ink.  The card needed a little extra something, so I added a couple of small Crisp Cantaloupe flowers with the flower punch in the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  Each flower has a small pearl in the center.



Now that I've done this card, I am so sad that I didn't use this set more over the last couple of months!

Let's get ready for Halloween!

I don't know about you, but I love little treats and decorations for Halloween.  I am already planning out some party ideas that I thought would be fun to share! I've been busy as you can see!  It all started with the thought of doing a banner and I just kept going and going! Each piece of the banner has different stamps and die cuts from the Howl-o-ween Treat bundle and was way more fun to create than I anticipated!  The panels are each 4" x 6" with the banner end hand cut.  I am actually working on a tutorial to release next week with the instructions for the banner and the treats so you can make your own!  UPDATE: YOU CAN FIND THE TUTORIAL HERE! Preview Week Day 6 and BLOG CANDY!!

Woo Hoo!! Today is Day 6 of Preview Week and it's my turn to give away BLOG CANDY!!  I am super excited to be on the Design Team for the Spring Collection 2015 from Create with Connie and Mary. The new Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration Catalog are chock full of great products and we are here to give you great ideas for using them!!  Let me show you my card then I'll tell you more! I'm sure that anyone that follows my blog knows how much I love shaker cards and confetti, so I had to do one for today with a critter!!  The Cheerful Critters set is just so cute I knew it would be great as a shaker.
