Obsessed with Paper Bows!

Ok......I have a new obsession......PAPER BOWS!  I've had so much fun making these all weekend, they are truly addictive!  Have you seen all the fun bows made with ovals?  Well that's the bow I can't stop making.  They are easy to do and I have a ton of DSP scraps that are perfect for this project.  Here's some of the bows I've made so far.

I started out making the bow on the paper clip that is on page 152 in the new catalog.

I tried it out and loved it! So then I thought, what about the oval bows on a paper clip...would be super cute.

Here's the first oval punch bow using the larger sizes with the Wisteria Wonder DSP from Afternoon Picnic.

This bow is pretty big for the paper clip.  I used the Large and Extra Large Oval punches.  I thought smaller might be better, so that leads to these two bows.

This size bow has turned out to be my favorite.  The first one is made with Quatrefancy DSP and on a paper clip.  The proportions are better when using the Large and Small Oval Punches.  The bow made with Afternoon Picnic DSP is on a binder clip, perfect fit.  It would be great for a place setting or a photo.

I am considering doing a step by step picture tutorial, please let me know if you are interested.  Just leave me a comment on this post.  Thanks for stopping by today, hope you are having a wonderful weekend!! Come back tomorrow for my Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge card.

If it doesn't move...stamp it!!
