Frame Art
Today I have a fun project to share. I actually made this picture frame art last month. My awesome upline Patty Bennett gave our group a challenge to make frame art using one of the new sets of Designer Series Paper. I made my frame art with Afternoon Picnic, take a look.
I love all the colors in this particular DSP so it was easy to create a color collage of hexagons. The only thing stamped here is the sentiment from Sweet Essentials. I went through the different sheets of DSP and punched out the different designs with the Hexagon Punch. The background is one of the sheets of DSP as well.
I arranged the hexagons how I liked them then added a few small flowers with pearls. I added the sentiment to one of the hexagons. I punched a 1/2" circle in the center of hexagon then tucked the one end of the banner into it.
This was a really fun project, a big thanks to Patty for inspiring it with her challenge! I have another frame sitting on my desk so I can make another frame art at some point. I can see this type of project being addictive! Maybe I should figure out a way to add a paper bow too....lol!
If it doesn't move...stamp it!!
