Whale you be Mine?

Yesterday I made a thank you card using Oh, Whale! so today I am sharing a valentine.  This set is so cute and versatile! I love that there are several greetings included that give you lots of creative options.




I wanted to use hearts to go along with the LNS weekly challenge, so a valentine was the obvious choice.  The card base is embossed with the new Cloudy Day EF.  I die cut the whales using the matching sizzlet and added a pearl for the eyes.  The large scallop heart is from the new Hearts a Flutter framelits, the pink heart is the heart punch, and the small hearts are from the whale sizzlet.
I stamped the waves and cut them out to add at the bottom.  All in all, I am pleased, especially with all the hearts!

Let's get ready for Halloween!

I don't know about you, but I love little treats and decorations for Halloween.  I am already planning out some party ideas that I thought would be fun to share! I've been busy as you can see!  It all started with the thought of doing a banner and I just kept going and going! A Cupcake Birthday and BLOG CANDY!

Today is the second day of Preview Week for the Create with Connie and Mary Summer Collection 2014!  And I am super excited because it's my turn to offer BLOG CANDY!!  First, let me show you my card for today.  And yes...it's another birthday card! Isn't this just too cute!!  Do you recognize this card at all?  Well, I used a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge card that I made two weeks ago as my inspiration.  I just loved the banners so much from that card and thought they would be even cuter with this little cupcake. I changed up the colors and stamps but kept the design the same. The first part of the design was the cupcake and sentiment.  I stamped the cupcake pieces and punched them out to adhere to the card.  The sentiment was stamped next to it on the Whisper White. With the bottom of the card in place, the banners were easier to arrange.  I alternated my colors, Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, and Strawberry Slush....
