A Birthday Princess Wand

A little break from Christmas items today.  My daughter turned 6 at the beginning of the month and I wanted to share something I made for her.  Last year I made her a crown that I will have to take pictures of to share with you.  This year I made her a Fairy Princess Wand.  She loves all things princess and fairy so what better gift that a magical wand!




All materials are retired Stampin' Up! products plus a dowel for the handle.  This came together super easy, just two layers of paper rosettes and butterfly die cuts with a bit of glitter for sparkle!  I also added ribbon to add movement.  All in all, I love it!  Sofia did too!

Sofia loved her Fairy Princess Tea Party and wand.  It was a fun birthday party!

Let's get ready for Halloween!

I don't know about you, but I love little treats and decorations for Halloween.  I am already planning out some party ideas that I thought would be fun to share! I've been busy as you can see!  It all started with the thought of doing a banner and I just kept going and going! Each piece of the banner has different stamps and die cuts from the Howl-o-ween Treat bundle and was way more fun to create than I anticipated!  The panels are each 4" x 6" with the banner end hand cut.  I am actually working on a tutorial to release next week with the instructions for the banner and the treats so you can make your own!  UPDATE: YOU CAN FIND THE TUTORIAL HERE! Preview Week Day 6 and BLOG CANDY!!

Woo Hoo!! Today is Day 6 of Preview Week and it's my turn to give away BLOG CANDY!!  I am super excited to be on the Design Team for the Spring Collection 2015 from Create with Connie and Mary. I'm sure that anyone that follows my blog knows how much I love shaker cards and confetti, so I had to do one for today with a critter!!  The Cheerful Critters set is just so cute I knew it would be great as a shaker.
