Another Wedding Card



I was able to pre order some items from the New 2008-2009 Fall-Winter Catalog. So, I did a wedding card with the Designer Series Paper from the level 3 bundle. I have included the supply list below. I really like this card, it is elegant with the feminine pink and the more masculine old olive.

It's Thursday and boy is this week flying by!  Another exciting day during Preview Week for the Create with Connie and Mary Summer Collection 2014 .  Today we are doing a BLOG HOP for the Thursday Challenge...how fun! Wonderland Flat Shaker

I've been away for a week, sorry I haven't shared any ideas with you.  We just moved to a new house after living at the previous house for over ten years.  Do you know how much stuff a family of 5 can collect in that amount of time??  A LOT!!  We are exhausted but glad to be settling into our new home.  Things are still chaotic, but I am SO READY to get back to stamping and sharing!! Here's a fun card I made before all the moving started, it's with my favorite set WONDERLAND. I just love these flat shakers!  It's hard to see in the picture, but there are trees stamped behind the vellum.  I wanted a winter woods effect with the sequins acting like snowflakes.  I even threw in a few of the snowflakes from last year's holiday catalog because they were a perfect fit. Since the trees in the background are harder to see, I added a couple tree tops to the vellum.  I love that they match perfectly with the washi tape......Mossy Meadow is such a lovely color for pine tre...

Rainbow Shadowbox for Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

I used to do tons of this style card, I love how easy they are to make and they have a nice WOW factor to them.  I actually envisioned this card when I saw OVER THE RAINBOW in the new catalog.  I knew that the word "RAINBOW" would be just perfect for a shadowbox, what do you think?? Perfect rainbow, right??!!  The stamp has just the right curve to fit over an oval framelit!
